Pushing Art is a way to describe how we do business. The concept is simple: Push marketing and training through creativity and out of the box thinking. Because throwing money at problems rarely solve anything, we are experts on gorilla tactics. We get projects done fast and as good as an agency and at a 5th of the cost. We are not polished like an agency, but that is not our goal. Our goal is to get your project up quickly operating at about 85%. Once the basic framework is complete, we improve as revenue is generated. To better understand this mentality you might want to read “Getting Things Done by David Allen”

Pushing creative education and challenging what is possible is what drives Jeremy Vest. In his 10-year career, Vest has gone from teacher, marketer, art director, author, instructional designer, and college program director to President and founder of xTrain.com. In whatever endeavor he is currently taking on, Vest is always pushing forward with new visions, dreams, and goals.
In the educational realm, Vest taught over 10 creative subjects in graphic design and Web design at the college level for over 4 years. Vest also created and ran a Visual Communications program that was used by several college campuses. In another capacity, Mr. Vest was the Art Director for 7 career college campuses and was in charge of all print, online, and video marketing. He successfully rebranded the entire college system, helping lead to the school’s acquisition.
Not one to just attempt success in one area, Mr. Vest has also created and led two internal corporate marketing departments from the ground up. One of the departments was a very successful stock trading Software Company. There, he was in charge of all visual and online branding and marketing and led a diverse team of people.
These experiences led to xTrain. xTrain was a dream 4-years in the making that Mr. Vest pioneered. xTrain has revolutionized online creative video training and was the first company on the Web to incorporate Emmy award winning television production with software based training, winning 3 Emmys in 2008. xTrain was also the first creative training Web site to use a social learning community. With faculty like Senior Creative Director of Adobe Systems Russell Brown, Ben Willmore and many more, xTrain quickly established itself as a top online creative education leader. As founder, Vest served as the Lead Instructional Designer for both xTrain and its projects with software and publishing companies.
Occasionally Mr. Vest puts his skills and vast experience to work by speaking at various seminars; his last appearance was at the DSVC Student show in April 2009. Mr. Vest authored “Exploring Web Design,” published by Delmar in 2005.
